Our client, a multi million pound distribution business, is looking to recruit a full time permanent Office Assistant to support the finance and operations team
This company continues to grow and the role has come about as a result of expansion
Role and Responsibilities for the position of Office Assistant
Day to day admin and support to the office
The successful candidate will have knowledge of excel
Answering and directing all incoming telephone calls, conveying messages speedily and accurately
Reconciling company credit cards / bank accounts / petty cash
Meeting and greeting visitors
Providing refreshments and arranging hospitality as instructed
Data input in accounts and purchasing departments
Filing
Experience required for the role of Office Assistant:
Experience in a similar role or the desire to train and learn new skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to liaise with clients confidently and professionally
Professional and confident telephone manner
Computer literate
High level of numeracy and literacy
Extremely self-motivated
Strong organisational skills
Willingness to learn and help out all members of the team
